The Sherwood Rekker SWD Lite Shoulder Pads come with every incredible feature that makes the SWD model so successful for women hockey players but come with a more affordable protection package that is perfect for casual to competitive play. A major factor for a great fit in the SWD Lite is the AIZ design, stretch inserts on the torso panels that allow the protection to flex and wrap the body, ensuring a premium fit and 360-degree coverage.
Female players will be pleased to find Sherwood's Customizable Impact Protection in key areas such as the sternum, belly guard, torso straps, and bicep guards too. This technology opens a wide range of adjustments so players can shape the shoulder pads to their unique body shape for premium comfort, coverage, and protection.
Replacing the Viconic Impact Protection found in the SWD, the SWD Lite has Sherwood's 3D Molded Hex Foam, offering competitive protection for the collarbone in physical situations. Molded shoulder caps and high-density foams throughout the panels, sternum and spine guards ensure standout protection for puck battles, falls, and collisions.
The soft liner is treated with Microban technology which is bonded to the fibers during the manufacturing process. Bacteria caused by sweat and moisture are attracted to the treated fibers, which then die and no longer create odor or stains. This technology increases the lifespan of your gear and leaves it smelling fresher for a lot longer.

| Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |
