Rollerblade Macroblade 100 3WD
Overview
The Rollerblade Macroblade 100 3WD Men's Inline Skate is a cross-trainer that is supportive, comfortable, and requires little to no break-in. The frames have a good length (not removable or adjustable), making it easy to skate, and with more stability than many other tri-skates. Speed, style, comfort, performance, and fun!
The Macroblade boots (fixed liners) are still considered soft but are firmer than what is found on Rollerblades recreational skates. This betters energy transfer while also providing great lateral support. Rollerblades Supreme urethane is good quality, and at 85A they are ready for outdoor roads and trails (SG9 Bearings).

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. GENERAL MACROBLADE SIZING GUIDELINES: Ordering US shoe sizes works for most. Add .5cm to the measurement for extra room at the toe or if wider feet. |

Comments: These are my first pair of skates so I don't have any to compare to. The only problem I have is that I can't get them as tight as I want. The large diameter wheels make them slightly less stable so you need a solid lock on your ankle. They are still good enough for cruising, but if you want to do tricks and jumps, these might be too loose. They are high quality, solid construction and comfortable. I'm glad I bought the triskates against most recommendations that beginners should start w/ the smaller wheels. I'm fairly athletic so maybe that's why I didn't have a problem adjusting. Leg strength is key. When I've been running a lot or lifting weights, I can tell a huge difference in my balance while skating.

Comments: These were nice and smooth as it has been approximately four years since I had last skated. These offer adequate support and stability

Comments: These skates are awesome! Having been an avid inline skater who did inline marathons for fun in my twenties, I knew I wanted something better than an introductory level skate to get back into the sport. But, 20 years later, wondered whether I would feel wobbly on the 3 wheeled skates. Not so! They are stable, comfortable, smooth and fast, but easily controllable. After a few times skating, I really don't notice the difference going from 4 wheels to 3 wheels. They feel great on straight fast paved trails, but roll easily over gravel when the trail is dirty. 2 wheels were a bit loose when they arrived, but easily fixed with an Allen wrench. I appreciated the quick service from Inline Warehouse, when I need to return the first pair for a bigger size. I have large women's feet, usually wear an 11 in running shoes, so the men's 10 fits well. Great skates!

Comments: These are great skates overall. I used to rollerblade back in the days starting from high school through college and wow have rollerblade changed! These are more comfortable than the older ski boot style rollerblades that I remember but bc of that they also feel a little looser when using them. I have to really re-tighten them while using so I can only imagine it is bc of a break-in period. The 3 wheels are great! Moving to greater speeds seem more effortless than I remember using 4 wheels. They are also easy to use. It took a few hours to get back in the groove of things and then I was off! I wouldn't shy away from these if you haven't been on rollerblades in years either. I would definitely get some pads though! I really like my purchase especially since they weren't as costly as others, so I definitely recommend!
