Gloves & Wristguards
Because of the nature of inline skating, wrist guards are an essential piece of equipment. It is natural for the inline skater to use their hands as a way to prevent injury when falling, therefore, having proper wrist and hand protection for your inline skating activity is recommended.
Inline Warehouse has categorized the wrist and hand protection based on manufacturer, but we encourage you to visit our Learning Center and view our videos on Wrist and Hand Protection Types and Sizing to help narrow down your selection
Elbow Pads
It's not funny when you hurt your funny bone, nor is it humorous if you break your Humerus. Elbow pads are a great idea, especially if you are still finding your balance and unsure of proper stopping or falling techniques.

Knee Pads
The knees are second most likely body parts to make contact with the ground if falling while skating. Proper knee guards and pads keep you inline skating without suffering from a major injury. Knee protection is a must for beginners learning technique and blance. They are a good idea for most everyone else.
Hip Pads
Hip pads and protection are a great option for those that are concerned with falling and recommended for beginners that have never done any inline skating. These hip pads can even be used for inline skating or quad skating activities, as well as other outdoor recreation that may dictate some form of falling.
Combo Packs
Inline skating protective combo packs are often more affordable than buying individually. You will find both two-piece and three-piece options. Protective Packs are divided into two categories (Kids and Adult). Check out the IW Learning Center for more information on wrist, knee and elbow protection.
